If you'd like to speak to someone about addressing a possible code enforcement issue at a property, please call City staff at 952-473-6961. We'll need to know the address of the property you would like to report. You can also jmoeller [at] longlakemn.gov (email the City Clerk) with the property's address, a brief description of the violation, and (if possible) a photo documenting the issue.
Your identity in making a code enforcement complaint is not public information and remains anonymous outside of your contact with City staff. Common code enforcement issues include, but are not limited to, grass exceeding 8" in height, brush piles on properties for more than 6 months, garbage and junk in yards or driveways for an extended period, and unlicensed vehicles being kept in inoperable condition in yards or driveways.
The handout provided below identifies City and Zoning Code provisions related to some of the most common code enforcement situations that require corrective action to be taken.
